First, Peggy will speak about a recent transaction out of state regarding how you may not be given a choice on your title if you don't realize there is one for a property and the experience of what might happen if you don't review your paperwork. The state Peggy purchased in does not share public information on the web so once you close you have to drive to the county and pay to get a copy of your recorded deed to see if the information if accurate. There may be issues in re-selling your investment if the title is done incorrectly you may incur financial loss.

Next, Carletta, a very savvy investor and expert in Section 8 property ownership & amazing management will discuss her title theft situation and what an ongoing debacle this can cause a family in time money and emotional drain. Imagine Carletta's family has a property someone thinks they bought and are fixing it up! A drive by surprise for everyone in this case as the property is supposed to be vacant! What is the cure for this expanding issue?
