Are you sure you’re covered?

 
Insurance policies for homes (and cars) typically contain language that defines the events and losses the policies do not cover. It may come as a surprise, for instance, when your insurance agent tells you you’re on your own after a flood.
 
It’s a good idea to review your insurance policies each year and add specific coverages you want.
