 PROOF OF RENT PAYMENTS!
Jeffery Taylor, Mr. Landlord

There's a growing concern among landlords that want to avoid renting to the vast number of tenants that have not paid rent during the pandemic. The reason is because so many tenants have taken advantage of the eviction moratoriums and not paid their rent. Therefore, one screening criteria that's becoming more and more of an absolute requirement is for an applicant to show proof the rent was paid promptly over the last 6 months (minimum). Without being able to show such proof of rent payments, many landlords that are looking to avoid financial disaster have no intention of accepting rental applicants that cannot show proof of rent for the last six months. Some landlords are even asking for proof of rent payments for the last 12 months.
