Finding the Answers at Greater Dayton REIA’s Annual Trade Show
By Larry D. Hudson
Real estate investors learn very soon that they’re involved with a business with many “moving parts.” How to buy, how to repair and how to manage? What’s the best way to keep rehab properties secure? What’s the best floor covering to use? The best paint?
There are always questions and problems. Where can you go for answers?
No matter what their questions may be, veteran property owners and rehabbers know where to turn. Greater Dayton REIA’s annual Trade Show is always a “can’t miss” event. It’s the place to consult with the people who serve our industry year-round. Trade Show brings them all together in one place. This year’s Trade Show was held April 4 at Fairborn’s Holiday Inn.
The Trade Show gave attendees the opportunity to meet dozens of vendors. From insurance, tax and legal service providers to housing inspection services to contractors and property managers, there were opportunities to learn more and to add to professional contacts.
There were also opportunities to see some unusual tools. Did you know you might need a robot lawnmower to keep the lawn at your apartment buildings neat? That small object that looks and operates like a robot vacuum cleaner was actually a robot lawnmower. You could see it in action at the trade show and – more importantly -- find out where to buy one.
