July’s Third Wednesday Meeting Attendees picked up a wealth of knowledge about how to avoid liability lawsuits during GDREIA’s July 20, 2016 meeting. Specifically, they learned how to cover themselves against liability for employee injuries with Ohio’s Bureau of Workers Compensation.BWC’s Kathleen Davenport provided great detail on how the program works and how to avoid liability even if you’re simply hiring someone to paint your kitchen cabinets. Davenport also detailed requirements for coverage for builders and rehab contractors. Also during the meeting, Bill Clark of Roto-Rooter described his company’s services, including plumbing services including drain pipe cleaning and assessing the condition of sewer lines with cameras.
